










Francisco, 44, is a philosopher, writer and researcher born and raised in Argentina. He is the Founder and President of Project Vision 21, a bilingual news and information service agency, with main offices in Aurora, Colorado. He is also the director of Project LEARN (Latino Educators Assisting Residents in Neighborhoods), a non-profit foundation providing quality, informal learning opportunities for monolingual Spanish-speaking adults.
In addition to his business and professional obligations, Francisco volunteers at different schools, churches, and non-profit organizations.
For example, he is a bilingual tour guide at the Denver Arts Museum, and a volunteer business teacher at Guadalupe Small Business Group.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors at Hepatitis C Connection and at the Better Business Bureau Foundation. He is a member of Latino Advisory Board at the Denver Art Museum.
He is also frequently invited to make presentations at colleges and universities, and to speak at community events. He has appeared many times as a guest in many local
radio and television programs.
Francisco has a Bachelor in Education and a Professorship (Bachelor and Master) in Philosophy (University of Buenos Aires). He also has certificates in Hebrew and Theology (Buenos Aires), and History of the Church and Advanced English (University of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada). He is now a candidate for a Ph.D. in Philosophy (Columbus University, MS).
Francisco started his journalism career in January 1988, writing for several publications in Argentina. Later, he continued his career in Canada (1990-1994) and the United States (since 1994), not only in print media, but also in radio and television. For six years (1985-1990), Francisco taught Epistemology (Theory of Science) at the University of Buenos Aires. He also taught Philosophy at the Colegio Ward (private Methodist college, Buenos Aires), and Comparative Languages at the Salvation Army Seminary, also in Buenos Aires.
In 1990, Francisco went to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to work with Hispanic refugees from 14 different countries. In 1994, he came to Denver, invited by The Salvation Army, to work in community development projects.
In February 1997, Francisco established
Project Vision 21. Currently, this debt-free, minority certified company provides services for several local corporations and non-profit organizations, and also distributes daily stories and information in English and in Spanish for local, regional and national media outlets. As the only nationally syndicated Latino journalist in Colorado, Francisco’s stories appear every week in more 30 newspapers and more than 45 web sites in the United States and in Latin America. His stories are also used in numerous television and radio stations.
During the past nine years, Francisco wrote more than 4,000 stories about the Hispanic/Latino community in Colorado and neighboring states. His web site, www.newsandservices.com, gets almost 200,000 hits per year.
In addition, Francisco provides bilingual media consulting services for large organizations, including the T-REX Project, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and the Children’s Museum of Denver, among many others.
Francisco and Karin (a realtor and owner of Taxes21), have been married for 17 years. They have a daughter and a son, both still in grade school. Francisco and his family live in Aurora, Colorado.
